Honkai Star Rail Light Cones: Everything you need to know!

Honkai Star Rail, the new role-playing adventure game from HoYoverse, is finally here and there are plenty of items for players to collect and use. One of these items is Light Cones.

As with many things in a HoYoverse game, Light Cones can be tricky to understand and also get hold of. Thankfully, we have all the answers you need right here for Honkai Star Rail Light Cones!

Light Cones explained

Light Cones have a rarity rating between three and five stars, with the stats for five stars obviously being higher than the others. They are shown in the game as cards which represent a character's memories. While you can give Light Cones to any character, the passive effect of a Light Cone will only activate if the Path of the character and their equipment are the same. This is crucial!

You can increase the various stats of Light Cones by levelling them up. Each Light Cone has a level cap of 80.

How to get Light Cones

Light Cones are an equipable item in Honkai Star Rail that lets you gain bonus stats and effects. As a result, they are very important to the game, so you should focus on getting them as quickly as you can!

While you can obtain Light Cones by exploring the open world and completing quests, the very strongest items are only available by spending a special currency called Stellar Jades on Light Cone Banners.

You can also get Cones by pulling on the Standard Warp banner, however this can also give you characters. New characters that are not part of the Standard banner come with their exclusive character banner, as well as a Light Cone Event Warp banner. If you want the best-in-slot Light Cones for limited characters, you have to get them when they first appear, or you will have to wait for reruns.

You can also buy the Namelss Honor battle pass premium track, which grants access to one Light Cone for every patch.
