Will Kazuha Die in Genshin Impact 2.1?

There has been a lot of buzz around Genshin Impact 2.1 and all the new content coming to the game once September hits.

A particular scene in the trailer has fans up in arms, fearful that one of their favorite characters may, in fact, bite the dust.

Kazuha's Fate

During the Genshin 2.1 trailer that details each of the new playable characters, a brief scene of Kazuha fighting Baal flashes on the screen.

The scene shows Kazuha struggling to deflect an attack from Baal's Musou Isshin.

The blade gets closer and closer to his neck before the scene changes.

The last Genshin Impact fans see of Kazuha in the trailer is his terrified face.

Many players believe Kaedehara Kazuha will be the first major Genshin Impact character to die.

Of course, this is all speculation, and it seems unlikely that miHoYo would kill off a playable character, especially once as new as Kazuha.

No Need For Hu Tao's Services

miHoYo makes its money off Genshin Impact's characters and fans' attachment to them.

It would not be a smart move for them to kill of a playable character, especially once that has garnered so many fans in such a short amount of time.

It is more likely that Kazuha will be saved in some fashion or another, probably an instant before Baal's stoke finishes him off.

Sorry, Hu Tao.

You will most likely not be preparing Kazuha for the afterlife.

What If?

What if miHoYo did off Kazuha?

Would he expire like a quest item that no longer has use?

Again, the chances are so slim you could balance them on a razor's edge.

That does not make images like the one above any less funny, though.

Kazuha fans can rest safe knowing that it makes no financial sense for miHoYo to kill him off now, or any time in the future.
