FIFA 22 Ultimate Team: Keep an eye on these BAD players before they BLOW UP

FIFA 22 is just days away from release!

With the Top 100 players revealed, we take a look at players lower down the ratings list.

This is due to an interesting new feature revealed in recent Pitch Notes about Featured Team of the Week cards.

To try and keep Team of the Week cards relevant for more of the year, EA has brought in a new feature.

Featured TOTW items have come to the game, which will earn a bigger boost than regular TOTW items.

The base card must be rated 80 OVR or below to qualify for this, and future performance-based cards will use this new rating and add to it.

With that in mind, here are five 'bad' players that could benefit from the new update.

Vinicius Junior (OVR 80)

IN FORM - Four in four already this season

The Real Madrid player just manages to scrap in as eligible for a Featured TOTW card.

Already with lightning pace and 87 DRI, an upgrade to his card could be phenomenal in FUT.

He has 4 goals in 4 games in La Liga, so a Team of the Week card is looming if he keeps up his form.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (OVR 80)

GETTING IN ON THE ACTION - Can Zinchenko join the party with his teammates?

More of a curveball here, Zinchenko wouldn't be most players first choice LB.

He doesn't have the most important attribute in FUT - pace.

However, he is a really impressive all-rounder, and could be employed as a CM.

With Manchester City lacking any other recognised LB, he could benefit from lots of game time in a team the is scoring masses in the Premier League.

Jude Bellingham (OVR 79)

GOOD JUDE - Bellingham is a class act already

What a sensational player Jude Bellingham is.

With two goals and four assists in seven appearances for Borussia Dortmund, he is definitely someone who could carry on this form for the rest of the season.

His base stats are primed for a boost too, which could see him turn into a formidable box-to-box midfielder (as the example image EA used shows).

Olivier Giroud (OVR 79)

FAN FAVE - A Featured TOTW card would make a lot of players happy

A FUT fan favourite, it would be a dream to see Giroud get a boosted card.

He has two in two for AC Milan and is getting the game time he needs.

Likely to be dominant in the air once again, he could really mix up the meta which will surely focus on pace again.

Matheus Cunha (OVR 79)

MR POPULAR - Cunha saw a lot of play last season

Popular on Ultimate Team last year due to being a pacey midfielder and easy links with a Brazilian nationality, we expect to see him deployed a lot again.

Boosted stats would make him even more wanted, but there is a way to go for that.

His move to Atletico Madrid hasn't seen him break into the first team just yet, but he will need time to settle in.

The reigning La Liga champions are currently unbeaten in the league, and if they come good as a team again and Cunha gets involved, his card could prove fantastic.

Adama Traore (OVR ??)

An honourable mention needs to be made for this man.

Adama Traore is an absolute must in FUT, a speed merchant if ever there were one.

We haven't had a confirmed rating for him, but last year he was a 79 OVR and we expect it to remain the same, or even potentially decrease.

Looking at the table Wolves don't appear to be doing well, but they are creating lots of chances and Traore is one of the most dangerous players in the Premier League.

Suffice to say, if he got a Featured TOTW card, we want it!
