It's the best league in the world, but does the Premier League have the best players?
Three of the finalists in Europe's competitions were from the English top-flight, and no fewer than six sides from the PL initially joining the breakaway European Super League.
We look at who's likely to be the best players from the Premier League on FIFA 22.
Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 91)
It won't surprise you to see Kevin De Bruyne top of the Premier League predictions, with the Belgian in a world in his own at the top of the PL pecking order.
Aged 29, the Belgian is at the peak of his powers, and shone in City's glittering side across a range of positions last season.
N'Golo Kante (OVR 90)
We're predicting a two-point boost for N'Golo Kante simply down to his Champions League performances.
The midfielder wins the ball back time and time again for Chelsea, with him securing three Man of the Match awards in a row as the Blues claimed the European Cup for the second time.
Virgil van Dijk (OVR 90)
How Virgil van Dijk starts next season will very much dictate his rating, as we look to see if he shakes off the ACL injury he suffered last October.
Will his yard of pace disappear? That could be a crucial component of how Liverpool fair next term.
Mohamed Salah (OVR 90)
It was a relatively quiet season for Mohamed Salah - despite scoring 22 goals.
If he's picking up those kind of numbers in a Liverpool side that's not firing on all cylinders, watch out for him when they get back up to full speed.
Harry Kane (OVR 90)
Will all knew what a deadly finisher Harry Kane was, but this season he showcased that he can create too, picking up the most assists in the Premier League - as well as the Golden Boot.
The only thing preventing the England captain from going to the next level is silverware - which could change if he forces through a move this summer.
Heung-min Son (OVR 89)
Harry Kane's partner in crime at Heung-min Son - the Korean never gives up and contributed to 17 goals and 10 assists in the league last season.
If Kane does leave, however, you can't imagine the left winger staying on - especially as he is the prime of his career aged 28.
Alisson (OVR 89)
A difficult season for Alisson as he lost the protection of Liverpool's main centre back pairing in Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
A crucial headed goal shows Alisson has another string to his bow, but there is an impression his reputation as the Premier League's best is under threat.
Bruno Fernandes (OVR 88)
Man Utd fans will scream for their main man Bruno Fernandes to reach a 90 rating, but they must remember that half of his Premier League goals last season came from the penalty spot.
Perhaps to get to that top level, Bruno needs a higher calibre of players around him, with the Portuguese looking flat during the Europa League final against Villarreal.
Ederson (OVR 88)
Despite securing consecutive Premier League Golden Gloves, Ederson is still behind Alisson in the pecking order for Brazil's number 1 jersey.
The 27-year-old Ederson is perhaps the best goalkeeper in the world with his feet, and perhaps it's just a question of being tested more to get his rating any higher.
Fabinho (OVR 87)
A difficult season for Fabinho has he had his own injury problems, but perhaps the Brazilian showed his worth when he seamlessly slotted in at centre back.
With a full complement expected at Liverpool next season, Fabinho must now look to form a partnership with Thiago in midfield - which has plenty of potential but hasn't delivered the goods just yet.
