Hypermotion V
The new era of EA FC 24 starts now with pre-orders and the first reveal already complete, we now have more information on new game mechanics!
Hypermotion has been part of the game mechanics since FIFA 22 with Hypermotion 1.0 and Hypermotion 2.0 in FIFA 23. You would expect a 3.0 this year, but instead, EA FC 24 will be using Hypermotion V.
The benefits of this new system are massive. EA FC 24 will feature 80x more animations than FIFA 23, with EA capturing huge amounts of real-life 11 v 11 data to transform its player presentation.

PlayStyles
The action on the pitch is set to be a little different in EA FC 24 with the introduction of PlayStyles. These are effectively traits that will boost the aspects of certain players in certain situations. Some will improve tackles or precision passing while others will boost aerial ability or shot power.
The idea is to provide a differentiation between players with similar attributes but that play very differently in real life. Adding to this will be PlayStyles+, a kind of super-charged version of PlayStyles that will make the elite players truly a different class.
PlayStyles will be active across every game mode, from Ultimate Team to Career Mode and the newly revamped Pro Clubs, or just Clubs as it is now!
Clubs
Exciting changes have arrived for Pro Clubs in EA Sports FC 24! The mode has been rebranded as Clubs and introduces a highly anticipated feature that players have been eagerly awaiting.
Clubs will be crossplay for the first time! That means friends on different platforms can now team up and dominate the community mode. Of course, it comes with generational barriers. Crossplay will let PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players connect, but PS4 & Xbox One players will be in a separate world.
How Clubs is formatted is changing too, with a six-week season split into a league phase and a playoff phase. There's no relegation anymore, but you do have to earn promotion through strong playoff performances! Penalties will also come into play in the playoff stages, adding extra pressure when all your friends are watching!
Career Mode
EA FC 24 brings exciting changes to both Player Career and Manager Career modes.
Player career will feature a player agent, who will help you carve your path to the top. Be it lining up future transfers or getting your development on track your agent will be key! There is also an updated personality system that will incorporate the PlayStyles feature.
Within Managerial Career there's a new spectator mode, meaning you don't have to play the games. There are also new training features and added coaches that will be crucial to how your team develops.
