CS:GO Kinguin Legends Captains & Prize Pool Revealed

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has some of the most renowned and loved legends of any esport and some of the best are returning for a unique event later this month called Kinguin Legends.

Today, it has been revealed which legends are returning as captains and what the overall prize pool will be. It's sure to be an incredible event full of fun plays and nostalgia for the more seasoned CS:GO enthusiasts.

Kinguin Legends Captains Announced

In what is sure to become a highly anticipated event, the captains for Kinguin Legends have been revealed and there is some true CS:GO loyalty among them. The full list is as follows;

  • Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski
  • Filip “NEO” Kubski
  • Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev
  • Emil "HeatoN" Christensen
  • Mikail "Maikelele" Bill
  • Kenny “kennyS” Schrub

What a lineup! There's quite the extended highlight reel that could be created with these six players and we're sure they'll bring their A-game to the Kinguin Legends event.

When speaking on the event, pashaBiceps has this to say;

Kinguin Legends Captain and ex-CS:GO professional “pashaBiceps” Jarosław Jarząbkowski said: “I am very happy to be able to participate in the Kinguin Legends project. This is a great initiative that will definitely allow us to feel the emotions associated with the great CS:GO scene again. I'm looking forward to the duels with NEO, Edward, HeatoN, kennyS and Maikelele. It will be a great show!”

Prize Pool for Kinguin Legends

The prize pool for Kinguin Legends has been set at €50,000 with no exact breakdown available just yet. One thing we do know is that if things go well during the event, it may not be a one-and-done.

This event has the potential to be an amazing spectacle bringing some of the greatest CS:GO, Source and 1.6 names together on a regular basis!
