The sequel to the popular 2019 of Infinity Ward's series-defining trilogy of games, Modern Warfare 2 is quickly approaching and more information is finally starting to be revealed to get fans excited but nothing is more exciting than the upcoming multiplayer reveal for the game.

Announced via the official Call of Duty Twitter page, Call of Duty Next is an upcoming showcase of Modern Warfare 2 that is set to give fans the biggest look at the upcoming title so far. It will also include some details abut what the future of Warzone look
This livestream event will not only show what the future of the series holds but will be the full multiplayer reveal for Modern Warfare 2 with live gameplay from Call of Duty streamers.
As we've already alluded to, Next will also finally show us the future of the massively popular battle royale Call of Duty Warzone as well as a Warzone mobile experience along with some as-of-yet unannounced reveals.
One of the rumoured reveals for this is the DMZ mode, a new mode that is reportedly similar but not as hardcore as the popular extraction-based game Escape from Tarkov but this is currently unconfirmed.
The event will take place on Thursday, 15th September 2022 and will show the brand new game, kicking off the hype for the latest Call of Duty game before the Modern Warfare 2 early access and open betas go live!
fans will get a taste of the title leading up to its release later this year on Xbox, PC and PlayStation.
