Modern Warfare 2 is almost here, and the Campaign will be open for early access before you know it. If you've pre-ordered the game it's almost time to get your hands on the brand-new missions with some familiar faces.
Fittingly, tomorrow will mark 141 days since the announcement and will kick off the Campaign Early Access. Here's everything you need to know so you can drop into the action as soon as possible.

Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Release Time
The Campaign will open up to all players beginning at 10 am PT or 6 pm BST on Thursday the 20th of October. The story will continue on from Modern Warfare 2019 and will explore everything that made Task Force 141 iconic originally.
The time is the same across all platforms, and all you need to access the campaign is to have pre-ordered the main game. There's a ton of exclusive rewards available as you work your way through the missions, so don't miss out!
Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Download Size
Modern Warfare 2 Campaign is available for pre-download right now, so once it releases you'll be able to drop in right away. We don't know the exact size of the pre-load just yet but expect around 25-30 GB for the Campaign.
The full game has been confirmed to clock in at 72GB on PC at launch. This will be a breath of fresh air after Modern Warfare 2019 was famous for multiple updates of nearly that size.
You'll also be able to pre-load the full game heading into the launch on the 28th of October, so don't worry about the download size and time too much. Always check out the recommended specs if you're playing on PC, to make sure you won't be disappointed.
