However, there was some good news for Apex Legends players, as the release date on Steam was finally announced.

The battle royale shooter will land on Steam on 4 November.
As a free-to-play game, you can simply jump in and enjoy just like everyone else.

Those currently playing on Origin can retain progression and unlocks on Steam, and switch between platforms as desired.
This Steam release will coinside with Season 7 arriving!
Apex Legends Season 7
Season 7 will see a new character, Horizon, come in. A Scottish scientish with a penchant for anti-gravity, she'll be a populat choice once unlocked.
There is also a lot of rumblings around a new map, perhaps at Olympus. This is just speculation until the trailer drops though.

Apex servers
After major server issues overnight, it looks like Apex is back up and running.
EA had huge problems across their titles, possibly because every Halloween promo dropped in all their titles at the same time.
Thankfully, we can get back onto the game now, so make up for lost time and dive in this weekend!
