KD/A POPSTARS marked Riot Games' breakthrough into mainstream media, showcasing to the world that they are more than just a gaming company. Following K/DA’s immense success, it’s not far-fetched to think that Riot has had plans to introduce another music group to their universe.

Rather than holding off until 2024, the reason why Heartsteel was scheduled to debut this year is most likely because Season 2 of Arcane is slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Riot Games has released HEARTSTEEL's debut single, "PARANOIA"!

Heartsteel's debut single is called "PARANOIA", as revealed by Riot Music. Riot released "Paranoia" on 23 October 2023, at 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST / 12 AM KST.

You can now watch the “Paranoia” music video on YouTube or listen to the track on all major listening platforms!

Heartsteel’s "genre-bending" style sets it apart from other Riot Music groups such as True Damage and KD/A. “The group’s personality and sound draws inspiration from modern music collectives, and a range of influences from across genres and eras, culminating in a bold, one-of-a-kind identity,” Riot Games said in a press release.

The unique sound of the track is a testament to the incredible talent of real-life artists who have lent their voices to the champions: BAEKHYUN as Ezreal, ØZI as Sett, Tobi Lou as K’Sante, and Cal Scruby as Kayn.

This diverse yet cohesive convergence of different music genres is vividly mirrored in the music video for "Paranoia", which showcases a dynamic mixed-media animation, expertly produced by SAUVAGE.TV, the very same team behind the 2019 Worlds anthem, “Phoenix".
