We set the team up in the basic 4-3-3 formation, offering attacking threats on the wings and solid cover with a three man midfield.

England’s number one man, and now your new number one. Pickford is ‘the best of the rest’ when it comes to Premier League goalies. A great all rounder and the highest rated player in our budget squad, he'll keep your net safe.
Antonio Rudiger (OVR 82)

Best stats: 88 aggression, 82 reactions, 85 standing tackle
Cost: 900 PS4 / 950 Xbox One
Rudiger is a beast. He performs way higher than his rating and is a solid foundation to build a Premier League defence.
The centre-half's low price makes him an absolute bargain, and therefore he's a no-brainer for our budget Premier League squad.

Nathan Ake (OVR 80)

Country: Netherlands
Best stats: 86 jumping, 81 interceptions, 82 defensive awareness
Cost: 750 PS4 / 750 Xbox One
A lot of FIFA players overlook Nathan Ake because of his relative lack of height (5ft11), but don’t sleep on this card! The Dutchman is great. He’s fast, strong and super reliable, with stats in all the right places for a CB.
Also, he'll only set you back 750 coins - what's not to like?
Keiran Tierney (OVR 76)

Best stats: 89 sprint speed, 87 acceleration, 89 stamina

Wow. What a card. Tierney is honestly one of the best left backs I have used, and I’m not saying that because I’m Scottish.

He is fast and strong, and his High/High work rates mean he likes to get forward just as much as he likes to defend. Total baller and massively underrated FUT card.
Ricardo Pereira (OVR 82)
Age: 26
Position: RB
Club: Leicester City
Country: Portugal
Best stats: 86 pace, 82 dribbling, 80 short passing
Cost: 3.3k PS4 / 4.2 k Xbox One
If Tierney is good, Pereira is better. High/High work rates mean he likes to push up the pitch, but with 82 dribbling and 80 short passing he is very useful on the wing.
When FIFA 20 came out, this card cost over 20,000 coins. Now you can pick him up for an easy 3,300 coins on PS4. Bargain.
Jesse Lingard (OVR 82)

Another under rated midfielder with stats in all the right places, Jesse Lingard has four-star skills and 83 dribbling, meaning the United man has a lot to offer in the middle of the park. In addition, his strong attacking threat can be yours for a measly 850 coins.

Wifred Ndidi (OVR 81)

Best stats: 90 jumping, 92 stamina, 85 standing tackle

Wilfred Ndidi is the poor man’s Kante, and is another massively under rated card. He’s fast, strong and super defensive. Slap a Shadow chemistry style on him and you’ve got yourself the equivalent of an 84 rated CDM with 83 pace.
Fred (OVR 79)
Age: 26
Position: CM
Club: Manchester United
Country: Brazil
Best stats: 87 balance, 82 stamina, 81 ball control
Cost: 700 PS4 / 800 Xbox One
Fred is a bit of strange one. His stats aren’t the highest, but he is a really well rounded card. Four-star skills and four-star weak foot mean he is dangerous on either foot, but what Fred does best is transition from defence to attack. A total box-to-box central midfielder.

Ryan Fraser (OVR 81)
Age: 25
Position: LM
Club: Bournemouth
Country: Scotland
Best stats: 92 acceleration, 95 agility, 96 balance
Cost: 800 PS4 / 850 Xbox One
Fraser is a nightmare to defend against. His 95 agility and 96 balance means the Scot is almost impossible to pin down, whilst he can utilise his 92 acceleration to leave defenders in his wake. Get him to the by-line and wreak havoc!
Callum Wilson (OVR 82)

Position: ST
Club: Bournemouth
Country: England
Best stats: 89 sprint speed, 83 finishing, 83 positioning
Cost: 1k PS4 / 1.3k Xbox One
Callum Wilson is lethal in front of goal, and you’ll still see him in the odd Weekend League squad. When FIFA 20 first dropped he was easily selling for 10,000 coins. Now you can pick him up for 1,000. Get him the service and he will score.

Allan Saint-Maximin (OVR 79)
Age: 22
Position: RW
Club: Newcastle United
Country: France
Best stats: 93 pace, 90 dribbling, 93 agility

Possibly one of the most frustrating cards to play against, Saint Maximin has pace for days. Give him the ball, hold sprint, and hold on for dear life! A great card for just over 3000 coins.
