Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 is just around the corner and it promises to introduce a lot of exciting content.

Premier will receive significant updates, there is a good chance a new map will arrive at the game, and some agents' nerfs and buffs are also expected.

The goal of this content is to make the game feel fresh again and continue to emphasize the path from Premier to Pro.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 Release Date

The Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 goes live on Tuesday 30 April at around 2 pm PST (5 pm ET / 10 pm GMT).

As usual, after the Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 ends, servers will be down for maintenance for a brief period, to make sure the Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 goes live without any issues.

Episode 8 Act 3 Battle Pass

A new Battle Pass will arrive at Valorant once Episode 8 Act 3 goes live, and players will be able to acquire it for 1000 VP. This Battle Pass brings many rewards such as new skins, player cards, sprays, gun buddies, and more.

Episode 8 Act 3 will introduce three new skin lines, which are called Comet, Tacti-Series, and Cloudweaver.

The Comet skinline has four color variants, green, red, pink, and purple, and the skin design is impressive. It has skins for the Ghost, Odin, Spectre, Vandal, and melee. This skin looks great and is among the best skin lines a Valorant Battle Pass has ever introduced.

The Tacti-Series skin line is one you can easily guess it's from a Valorant Battle Pass. It's a more common skin, with no color variants, and all weapons have the same design pattern, it has skins for the Classic, Guardian, Frenzy, and Marshal. Despite that, it still has some unique aspects that some players might enjoy.

As for the Cloudweaver skin line, it's very similar to the Celestial one, but with a slightly different color scheme. The Cloudweaver skins look great, and they will be available for the Stinger, Shorty, Sherif, and Outlaw.

Episode 8 Act 3 Content

As mentioned above, this new Act will bring new and exciting content. This is great news as Valorant has felt a little stale as of late, so hopefully this can revitalize the game.

There is a good chance that a new map will arrive at the game during Episode 8 Act 3. A player card of the new map has recently been leaked, which can indicate its arrival is closer than expected.

But that is not all, as the brand-new Mystbloom Bundle is also making its way to the game, and brings some spectacular skins with it.

This new bundle is inspired by the League of Legends Spirit Blossom skin theme and will introduce skins for the Operator, Phantom, Sheriff, Judge, and Melee.

Valorant Patch 8.08 also arrives at the game at the same time Episode 8 Act 3 goes live, and it brings some huge agent changes, with Viper receiving major nerfs.

Valorant Premier Updates

Valorant Premier is receiving some important updates in Episode 8 Act 3. The playoff qualification threshold will increase to 600 points from all the Premier divisions.

Teams that win their Playoff bracket will now be promoted at least one division at the start of the next stage. Furthermore, the top two contender teams from each Zone will have the chance to make it into a Challengers League.

Last but not least, teams that are one of the top 32 teams in their Zone Contender's Division at the end of the stage will qualify for the Invite Division in Episode 9 Act 1.
