How to Create a Clan in Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans can be brutal without your friends. If you don't have some buddies to back you up and fight against everyone else, you might lose your work. If you don't feel like joining a clan, you can always just make your own. Here's everything we know about how to do so.

What To Do First

Before you go about joining or creating any clans, you have to finish the tutorial. The tutorial is very simple and requires you to do what's in front of you.

You start off by building some new places in your town to house gold, units and protect it from attacking opponents. This is important to set you up for the base game itself. Half of what you do is about upgrading while the other half is about making yourself strong enough to get your resources.

You start off with a ruined clan castle. It will take 10,000 gold to rebuild it but it's worth it in the end.

How to Create a Clan in Clash of Clans

Now that you've spent 10,000 gold to restore your clan castles, you can finally join or create your own clan. This will cost you an additional 40,000 gold to create it.

On the top left-hand corner, you can access your profile. To the right of this are the options to create your own clan or join a preexisting clan. Click on the create clan option to start making your own clan.

Picking the right name is an important choice as it can't be changed afterward. Whatever you pick, you are stuck with. Under this, you can make your own description whilst setting up a couple of caveats for membership. You can set your own badge, pick who is allowed to join and you can also set a minimum trophy count. This is a good way of only picking up experienced players.

The clan creator is all about making something tailored to you. If you want to be aggressive, go for it. If you want a nice friendly clan, make a great one yourself.
