The road to fame may be an easier journey than you realise when it comes to making your Sim the next superstar musician making a killing from their talent.
Many Sims dream of becoming a megastar musician as a part of their aspirations and one key element in reaching this goal is to work on your Sims character's music skills and help them write music.
Even if your sim doesn't become mega-famous and make a ton of money, writing songs is always a great way to earn extra cash within the game, so get creative and enjoy the process.
How to get started
A great part about the Sims games is that they allow your character a lot of freedom to pursue their dreams.
If they want to be the next Picasso they grab the easel and get to work, if they want to be the next Jimi Hendrix they pick up the guitar naturally.
NATURALLY MUSICAL: It helps a lot if your sim is musical to begin with
If your Sim has been given musical traits within their personality they will naturally gravitate towards musical pursuits without prompting which is a handy head start.
However, if you are wanting to go the extra mile and get your Sim to a professional level and start earning the big bucks you will have to put the effort in and prompt them to hone their musical talent.
How to reach the ability to write songs
To do this you will have to increase your skill level on your chosen instrument all the way up to level eight.
The downside of this, however, is that it can be very time consuming to get your Sim up to this level.
DREAM CAREER: It could be yours if you are willing to put the time in
