Best Liverpool kit of all time

The 1989/90 season saw a star-studded Liverpool team wear this iconic adidas jersey, one that the club has since released in a retro form in recent years.

What makes this kit so memorable is it combines a unique print pattern with the large Candy sponsorship placed right across the centre of the shirt. The kit saw some success too, with the club picking up the league title which Liverpool would fail to win again until the 2019/20 season.

Despite not having the best league campaign, Liverpool's 2004/05 season was memorable thanks to the team's historic comeback in Istanbul to win the Champions League. From 3-0 down in the first half against AC Milan, Liverpool fought back to an incredible 3-3 draw which they would then go on to win via a penalty shootout.

3. Nike Away Kit 2021/22

Liverpool's team throughout the 2021/22 season was perhaps one of the most exciting to watch thanks to Mohammed Salah taking his immense talent to the next level. As a result, the squad picked up the Carabao Cup alongside strong performances in the Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup competitions.

The shirt itself features a slightly cream tone with dark green and orange accents around the collar to match the colour scheme of the home jersey.

Best retro Liverpool Kit

The 1983/84 season was one of the most successful periods in the club's history, with the team at the time winning three out of a possible five trophies throughout the year. Therefore, we feel it makes sense to include this iconic red Umbro strip as one of the best retro Liverpool shirts of all time.

Not only do you get the usual red tone, but the kit also features unique white pinstripes to contrast the golden badge and branding, thus making this particular jersey stand out on the pitch.

This 2018/19 home jersey was the fourth, and arguably the best, in the New Balance era of Liverpool kits.

What we like about its design, in particular, is that New Balance kept things fairly simple, utilising a deep red tone accented superbly by the white-trimmed collar. However, the kit doesn't just make our list through style alone. No, Liverpool's 2018/19 season is one of the most successful in recent history as the team won the Champions League for the first time since 2005.
