With Barcelona being one of the most successful teams in La Liga though, there is a great selection of kits to choose from, although fierce rivals Los Blancos would no doubt argue some of the best Real Madrid kits top anything Barcelona has ever worn.

El Clásico aside, there is a selection of shirts that we think are a cut above the rest from Barça thanks to various European and domestic accolades, something Barcelona will no doubt be looking to continue wearing its new Nike home strip this season.

From some of the best retro shirts from the club's past, like this 1999/00 Centenary strip, to some more modern releases, like this 2021/22 third jersey, we've rounded up the very best right here to help you find the next Barcelona shirt to add to your collection.

With that in mind, let's get into it...

The 2008/09 season saw Pep Guardiola and a team of legendary names such as Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry, Xavi, and Andrés Iniesta win the first treble in Spanish football history.

The team won La Liga by a staggering nine-point margin, dominated Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey, and famously beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Champions League final, all whilst wearing this amazing half-and-half kit.

Barcelona's classic red and blue colours are split right down the middle whilst the sponsor and branding come dressed in golden tones to match the badge.

All in all, we feel this 2008/09 Nike home strip is one of the best overall kits in Barcelona's history.

Barcelona would repeat its achievement from 2008/09 again during the 2014/15 season thanks to the combined efforts of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and huge summer signing Luis Suárez, aka “MSN”.

Under Luis Enrique, the team managed to pick up league, domestic, and European titles in style thanks to this amazing red and blue striped kit with subtle Catalonia-inspired details such as the small triangular cut-out around the collar.

Ultimately, we feel this kit rolls everything you need to know about Barcelona into one neat packaging, making it one of the best Barcelona kits ever thanks to Nike's amazing design.

When it comes to standout Barcelona teams, they don't come much more star-studded than the 2005/06 squad featuring non-other than the Ballon d'Or winning Ronaldinho.

The team was filled with quality throughout, but also featured a few up-and-coming talents as well like Lionel Messi and Andrés Iniesta, both of which went on to become some of the best players in the world.

This combination of youth, talent, and experience meant Barcelona picked up the league and European cup double that season, all whilst wearing this amazing fluorescent yellow kit for the team's away fixtures.

As a result, we feel this 2005/06 Nike away strip is one of the best Barcelona away kits of all time. It's worth noting that this kit is actually not too dissimilar to the new 2022/23 away kit either.

In our opinion, this Barcelona third strip is up there as one of the best football kits from last season, so it may come as no surprise we're featuring it here.

Although worn sparingly by the team, we feel its unique printed pattern inspired by different parts of the city really makes it stand out on the field.

And while the team's 2021/22 campaign didn't start as planned, former player and now manager Xavi has seemingly turned things around for the Catalonian club.

With the 2022/23 season on the horizon, who knows what the future will bring during Xavi's reign as Barcelona manager?

As part of the 100th anniversary of the football club, Nike gave fans this iconic 1999/00 Centenary home kit.

The campaign itself is perhaps best described as a season of near misses for La Blaugrana, finishing runners-up in La Liga and knocked out in the semi-final of the Champions League.

However, we feel this shouldn't take away from the fact that this kit is one of the best in the club's history, particularly if you're a fan of a more retro style.

The jersey was worn by some amazing legends too, including the 1999 Ballon d'Or winner Rivaldo, Luís Figo, Patrick Kluivert, and club captain Pep Guardiola.

Overall, the half-and-half design combined with navy sleeves and collar help make this kit one of our all-time favourite Barcelona kits.

This Elite Drill training kit looks to be well worth considering if you're after something comfortable to wear whilst practicing.

Again, this shirt may have featured during a somewhat disappointing 2021/22 season; however, we're a big fan of its stylish dark red and blue striped and patterned design will certainly help you stand out during training.

With contrasting white accents as well, we feel this Elite Drill kit is definitely up there as one of Barcelona's best training tops in the club's history.
