NHL 22 Ratings: Top 50 Highest Rated Players This Year

We're just around the corner from playing NHL 22 and as we near its release date - and EA have finally revealed the highest-rated players this year!

Let's see who got the No.1 overall spot, the top ten, and the remaining 39 highest-rated players in NHL 22.

Highest Rated Player in NHL 22

Only one player is able to receive the title of highest-rated player in NHL 22, and surprisingly enough it isn't this year's cover athlete Auston Matthews.

Instead, the Edmonton Oilers are the team of this year's NHL 22 highest-rated player, Connor McDavid. McDavid was the leader in points in the NHL for the 2020 season with 105. He's one of the best players in the NHL and definitely deserves the title of highest-rated player.

McDavid comes in with a 95 OVR, but one of the most important ratings is his 96 Speed rating which gives him the "Wheels" X Factor.

Top 10 Highest-Rated Players

Of course, Connor McDavid comes in as the player with the best overall rating, but that doesn't mean he's much further ahead than the top ten.

The top ten overall players in NHL 22 are some of the best names in the league and each of them have an X Factor, in fact, all 50 of these players have an X Factor. All of them will be great additions to your HUT 22 team this year.
