NBA 2K21 will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on Thursday, 4 March - according to this post from Xbox Wire.
NBA 2K21 will be available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, you will also be able to play on the cloud.
Xbox Game Pass price
Xbox Game Pass costs $9.99 / £7.99 a month, giving you access to over 100 console games that are regularly updated, plus exclusive discounts and deals.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $14.99 / £10.99 a month, offering you can over 100 games on console, PC and Android mobile devices.
You also receive in-game perks, play games vai the cloud on your Android device, and includes Xbox Live gold - meaning it's cheaper than paying for both the standard Game Pass and Xbox Live separately - as well as EA Play.
That EA Play subscription will become more fruitful soon with Madden 22 and NHL 22 being added to the library.
Be wary, however, with NBA 2K21 taking up a lot of space on your hard drive.
On Xbox One, the game is about 90GB, Xbox Series S increases this to 100 GB, whilst the game is a huge 120GB on Xbox Series X.
Why should you play?
Well, NBA 2K21 maybe six months old, but it still has plenty to offer.
Not only do you have regular roster ratings updates reflecting the real NBA season, but MyTeam Season 5 kicked off just a few weeks ago.
Build your own hero with LeBron James, evolve him and have him team up with current stars like Luka Donic to legends like Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan.
Complete MJ's challenge "The Last Shot" - which earned Chicago Bulls the three-peat - and earn a Diamond Jordan shoe and Hall of Fame badge.
Also on Game Pass
It's a huge month for sports titles on Xbox Game Pass, with Madden 22, NHL 22, NBA 2K21 and two editions of Football Manager 2021 coming to the platform in some regard.
