Deathloop has just arrived on Xbox after a year of exclusivity and that comes with it tonnes of questions about how it works.
Arkane has been a little bit quiet about some of its central mechanics, so you may have to figure it out for yourself. Unless you're reading this. We can figure it out for you. This is how you heal in Deathloop. Luckily, there are four main ways of doing so.

How to Heal in Deathloop
Here's a quick list of the four main ways to heal in Deathloop:
- Fizz Pop
- Trinkets/Slab Upgrades
- Regeneration
- Health Stations
We'll now go into a little more detail on each of them, and in some cases, where to find the items.
Healing With Fizz Pop
Fizz Pop is possibly the easiest way to heal substantially. Around the map, you can find small items called Fizz Pop. Take it to heal up.
You can find these littered around the place so they're pretty easy to come by.
Trinkets & Slab Upgrades
If you want to heal in a much more stylish way, you can do so with a trinket. You can upgrade the Nexus slab by getting it from Harriet twice to get the Parasite perk.
Pair this with a run and gun style and you can keep yourself perpetually going by just being aggressive enough. This is a reliable and fun way to gain health that combines the fun of the Nexus slab with staying safe. It may take a while to get it but it's worth it.
Finding Health Stations
The health station is a great but limited way to gain a substantial amount of health. If you're lucky enough to come across them, you can heal up to the top of your health bar.
As they are less common, make a map of where these are in your head to figure out the best route to heal. That is the joy of the time loop.
Hiding
This last way to heal is the most cowardly. As you take damage, a portion of it can be regained if you just escape combat for long enough. Run away and hide to gain it back.
