As Version 4.3 approaches, the Genshin Impact community is abuzz with excitement as the recent Developers Discussion HoYoLAB post reveals a plethora of long-awaited quality-of-life updates, including one-click expeditions and a more streamlined enhancement process.

Version 4.3 not only marks the highly anticipated banner debut of Navia, the beloved president of the Spina di Rosula, but also addresses the community's much-requested QoL improvements. Let's delve into the specific changes that will make Genshin Impact even more enjoyable in Version 4.3!

One-click expeditions, ingredient processing, and forging

Starting in Version 4.3, players can use one-click expeditions to effortlessly claim rewards and repeat expeditions.

In the same vein, items crafted at the forge or processed ingredients at the alchemy bench can now be claimed with a single click. Additionally, when performing Mystic Offerings at Crafting Benches, you can now add multiple Artifacts in batches with a single click too!

Quicker enhancement process for characters, artifacts, and weapons

Version 4.3 also brings significant improvements to the enhancement process for characters, artifacts, and weapons.

The effects of the character levelling-up interface have been accelerated. On top of that, using Auto Add, you can now add sufficient Character EXP Materials to get your character to the highest level before Ascension with just one click.

Artifacts can now be auto-upgraded to the next tier – levels 4, 8, 12, and 16 – while manual upgrades can be performed with up to 15 materials at once. For weapon enhancements, players can now add up to 40 materials simultaneously, and refining weapons now supports selecting multiple items.

Other QoL changes

In addition to the major updates mentioned above, Version 4.3 brings several smaller but welcome improvements:

  • The Archon Quest "Requiem of the Echoing Depths" has been unlinked from the World Quest occurring in The Chasm, making it easier for newer players to progress through the story
  • If players continue to challenge the Domain after claiming rewards, your party will now spawn closer to the challenge location, which eliminates the time-consuming trek from the entrance to the arena's centre
  • Additionally, players can now find respawn timers for bosses by clicking on their locations on the map

While many Genshin Impact players have developed muscle memory for the more tedious aspects of the game, most are relieved that HoYoverse has taken steps to improve the overall gameplay experience. The introduction of these QoL updates is widely welcomed, and players are optimistic that more improvements will be made in the future.

Some Genshin Impact fans express disappointment that their sister game, Honkai: Star Rail, has had these QoL features from the beginning, the general sentiment is that it's better late than never!
