Most notably, an anonymous leaker took it upon themselves to release over 1GB worth of character concept art to hungry Genshin fans overnight, giving form to the many names that had been previously leaked.

According to HutaoLover77's tweet, there will be 18 new characters introduced in Fontaine:
There will be 1 loli, 4 boys, 8 girls, 2 tall men, and 2 tall women (three if including Arlecchino). In total, 18.

1. Furina, Hydro Archon Focalors

The Hydro Archon of Fontaine, also known as Furina, is described by Lesser Lord Kusanali Nahida as possessing a ‘unique’ and volatile personality. While Furina does not typically involve herself in legal proceedings, she finds great pleasure in observing nearly every trial, and ‘lives for the spectacle of the courtroom’.
Although Focalors considers herself a paragon of justice and righteousness, often boasting to be "pure", flawless, and faultless, she is evidently troubled by Fontaine’s looming prophecy: One day the Fontainian people will all be dissolved into the waters, and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throne.”
2. Lyney

Lyney, Teyvat's "greatest magician", appeared alongside Lynette in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview. He has violet eyes and wears a top hat and a black cape with a red ribbon. He has a tear-shaped mark on his right cheek. It was confirmed that Lyney grew up in Arlecchino’s House of Hearth with Lynette, and is in cahoots with the Fatui.
3. Lynette

Lynette appeared hand-in-hand with Lyney in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview. She is far more reserved compared to her older brother. She has violet eyes, cat-like ears, and a tail. A star-shaped mark adorns her left cheek. Lynette grew up in Arlecchino’s House of Hearth with Lyney.
4. Freminet

Freminet, a diver hailing from Fontaine, is known to work with intricate machinery that requires exceptional concentration and precision. As per leaks, this intense focus on his work may give him an aura of emotional detachment and distance when interacting with others.
His reclusive nature serves as a stark contrast to his siblings, Lyney and Lynette, making him seem all the more endearing.
5. Neuvillette

Neuvillette, Chief Justice and Iudex of Fontaine, commands the Opera Epiclese of the Court of Fontaine. He is rumoured to come from an immortal race of Sirens, and has a connection with the Oceanids. Fontaine is known as the nation of ‘Justice’. Therefore, his prominent position implies significant involvement in the political and judicial matters of the region, playing a crucial role in Fontaine's storyline.
He is described to be reticent and stern. From his official drip marketing, he is a tall male character with white hair, blue horns, and a uniquely designed set of clothing.
6. Wriothesley

The Wriothesley is the Administrator of the Fortress of Meropide and is in charge of keeping Fontiane's criminals at bay, giving them the "tranquillity" they require.
Wriothesley is greatly admired by the inmates of the Fortress of Meropide due to his hands-on approach and relaxed policies, with many choosing to stay at the prison even after serving their sentence.
Callas, the former President of the Spina di Rosula, has noted that Wriothesley is "far more worldly" than he appears. It seems that their meeting dispelled any prior doubts regarding the "Duke" title being merely superficial.
7. Navia

Navia holds a high-ranking and influential position within Fontaine, with an Aquabus line named after her. She is revealed to be the president of the Spino di Rosula, described as an "optimistic lady with a kind heart," and known for her "unconventional" behaviour. In the Archon Quest Chapter IV, Travellers teamed up with Navia to investigate an important case.
She also appears to be a well-connected individual. This can be seen in her closeness to renowned Steambird reporter Charlotte, and her, albeit strained, relationship with Clorinde, a high-ranking official in the Fontaine government.
With her official introduction in the Overture trailer and recent Archon Quest, fans were even more smitten as she displayed a playful and cheeky side to her character.
8. Clorinde

The enigmatic Clorinde has caused a stir in the Genshin community ever since blurry concept art designs of her were leaked to fans before her debut. Fans were drawn to her stylish hat and Bloodborne-esque design. Among the new Fontaine characters that have been unveiled, Clorinde stands out with her aloof demeanor and striking design, capturing the rapt attention of Genshin fans worldwide.
Clorinde is a Champion Duelist with outstanding combat skills. Her prowess in battle has piqued the interest of the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia (Childe), who desires to spar with her.
9. Charlotte

11. Chevreuse

Drawing on the leaked image of her character model, Chevreuse is the embodiment of Fontaine's steampunk aesthetic. She sports an eyepatch over her right eye, a large conductor's hat, steampunk-inspired headphones around her neck, and gold ornaments adorning her black and red dress.
Fontainian NPC Riqueti hints that Chevreuse is the Captain of the Special Security Surveillance, the least mechanised unit of the esteemed Gardes of Fontaine. Members of the Patrol are selected based on their abilities, regardless of their past. Chevreuse does not seem fond of the Gardemeks that patrol Fontaine, stating that they “will just block our bullets!”
12. Sigewinne

Nicknamed "cotton candy girl" or "Chibi Nurse" by the Genshin community, Sigewinne is the Head Nurse of the Fortress of Meropide. As an introspective Melusine, Sigewinne is surprisingly sharp and enjoys crafting a semblance of trust between herself and others.
In the recent narrative developments, she appears to have a close relationship with Wriothesley, with many fans speculating that she often treats his injuries.

17. Dahlia
