Before the arrival of Genshin Impact 2.7, Hoyoverse has released the web event To Ensnare a Prey. A short story-based game, this web event shows the information network of Yelan in action., and offers some nice rewards along the way.

To Ensnare a Prey Web Event Details
To Ensnare a Prey started on May 26, 2022 and will last until May 31, 2022, just minutes before the arrival of Genshin Impact 2.7 debut.
Rewards cannot be claimed after the event ends, so make sure to claim them on time!
Eligibility Requirements
- All Travelers despite their Adventure Rank can have access to this web event.
- Players need a Hoyoverse account to have access to the mini-game.
New Yelan Web Event Shows Off Spy Work
The newest Genshin Impact web event, To Ensnare a Prey, shows Yelan waiting at a table in the mysterious Yanshang Tea House.
Yelan receives a message from the Qixing in Liyue (The government), requiring her services to find a Spy that is selling secrets of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The event consists of exchanging intel with several informants to solve the case.

+ 2The event only takes one day, and players are not required to do much but read pieces of information.
To Ensare a Prey may be short, but it offers some nice information on what's coming next in the game and more info about Yelan's personality.
From this event, the following things have been confirmed:
- We know that Xiao is currently in The Chasm
- Itto and Kuki Shinobu arrived together in Liyue Harbor
- Someone is following the Traveler
- Yelan is interested in knowing about the adventures of the traveler in Liyue

Travelers can earn some nice rewards including some free Primogems by finding out the culprit who's leaking information from Liyue's Qixing.
