After a break of three weeks, Hoyoverse is back to work, so players are getting new content from Genshin Impact on a regular basis once more.
With just 7 days away from the arrival of Genshin Impact 2.7, Hoyoverse released the first trailer of Yelan called: Inevitable Justice.
The video presents Yelan during an investigation case that involved Fatui agents. Here are all the latest details.
Who is Yelan?
Yelan is the owner of the very shady Yanshan Tea House (which really seems like a casino instead). She collaborates with Ningguang as a secret agent.
According to her story, Yelan is one of the few people that have traveled to the abyss. Currently, she is investigating The Chasm.
Yelan keeps track of many people in Teyvat and the traveler is one of those subjects. In Genshin Impact 2.7, Yelan will have her own Story Quest, and she will be a major character in the Archon Chapter, Perilous Trail.

Breaking Down the Yelan Trailer
The Genshin Impact trailer, Inevitable Justice, shows Yelan's skills as a Secret Agent.
By the reaction of the people questioned by Yelan, we can tell she is a fearsome character. In the video, we can see Yelan moving from the mining area near The Chasm to Liyue Harbor.
It seems Yelan is following the steps of the Fatui and their pursuit of Gnosis, while taking care of the unknown forces inside The Chasm that are coming out to the surface.
Even though the Trailer is brief, got to see Yelan's attire in great detail, and she definitely has one of the best character designs in the game today. We can also expect more cinematics about Yelan in the upcoming days.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Yelan Banner Release Date
The upcoming Genshin Impact 2.7 Yelan banner, Discerner of Enigmas, will go live on June 1, 2022, at 6 pm on the Asian Server
The Discerner of Enigmas will feature the debut of Yelan - a 5-star Hydro Bow Character, and the following 4-stars characters:
- Yanfei - 4-star Pyro, Catalyst User
- Barbara - 4-star Hydro, Catalyst User
- Noelle - 4-star Geo, Claymore User.
