The FIFA 23 game cycle is beginning to wind down now which means it's time to look ahead towards what FIFA 24 EA Sports FC may have to offer.

The transfer rumour mill is spinning and it looks like some of the biggest names in world football could be on the move this summer, which will have a significant impact on EA Sports FC.

England midfielder Declan Rice could be the subject of one of the highest-profile switches in the coming months.

Whilst he has been linked to the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, it's the North Londoners Arsenal that are said to be favourites to secure the signature of the 24-year-old.

We're taking a look at why every FIFA fan should be rooting for Rice to move to the Emirates and what impact the transfer could have on the football sim.

Ones to Watch Weapon

Some drastic changes will be coming to Ultimate Team, including the introduction of female players to EA's most popular game mode.

Some traditions will remain, though, and the popular Ones to Watch (OTW) promo will no doubt be the first of many in FUT 24.

Should Rice make the switch to Arsenal, his Ones to Watch card will be one of the most sought-after of any in the promo.

First of all, we expect the English central midfielder to be given a healthy boost, perhaps to 86 OVR, with some great stats across the board.

Then, Rice will no doubt pick up the Wins to Watch boost with the Gunners that will likely be in effect again for FUT 24, taking his OTW card to an 87 OVR.

Should the talented midfielder thrive under Mikel Arteta in the way many expect him to, we could see him included in several Team of the Week (TOTW) squads throughout the course of FUT 24.

Not only will an Arsenal-represented Declan Rice be a superb addition to FUT in its own right, but he will provide and receive superb links in Ultimate Team.

The first player that stands out in this department is his England international teammate and good friend, Bukayo Saka.

The 21-year-old, who recently signed a new long-term deal at the Emirates, is set for a giant boost in FUT 24, potentially taking him to 86 OVR with 89 Dribbling, 88 PAce and 84 Shooting.

Career Mode BEAST

Fans of Career Mode can also get excited about this potential transfer, with Rice set to be one of the most promising defensive midfielders in FC 24.

The Irons captain currently boasts a potential rating of 87 OVR in FIFA 23, which will certainly be bumped up when the next EA title comes around.

We could see Rice's Career Mode potential rating reach 90 OVR, with the player able to grow into a truly world-class CDM in the game.
