As per usual, FIFA Ultimate Team's first promo of the year will be the Ones to Watch (OTW) campaign, highlighting the most exciting transfers from the summer window.
It looks like EA has just confirmed the first player to receive a OTW card in FUT 23 via Instagram, and it's a big one...
What are OTW items?
Ones to Watch cards are special items depicting players who have recently transferred to a new team.
These players have dynamic ratings which get higher and higher to match their performances for club and country.
Each time that player is awarded a Team of the Week (TOTW) in-game, their overall rating will match it.
On top of this, if the team of a OTW star wins at least five of the first ten league games (after release on Friday, 30 September), their overall rating increases.
The 'Wins to Watch' upgrade will boost the OTW item as if they were included in the TOTW.
The official EA Sports FIFA Instagram account has just revealed the first Ones to Watch (OTW) item of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
The Instagram story advertises a few Man City stars as well as the fact that the game is now available to Pre Order, until Thursday, 29 September.
You can secure yourself a Ones to Watch item from the outset of FUT 23 by pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23.

We expected Manchester City's marquee summer signing, Erling Haaland to be in the mix of special cards and we weren't wrong!
Taking centre stage in the Instagram advertisement is none other than Ones to Watch Erling Haaland.
Although his rating has not yet been revealed, we expect the world-class number nine to be bumped up to an 88 OVR in FIFA 23.
Despite missing parts of last season due to injury, Haaland still managed more than one goal involvement a game, playing 29, scoring 27 and assisting five.
Manchester City confirmed the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund back in June.
The 22-year-old joined the Club on a five-year deal which keeps him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2027.
The Norwegian international striker already has three goals and one assist to his name in his first three Premier League appearances.
There's no doubt Haaland's OTW card will be getting several upgrades throughout the season, so he could be worth the investment!
