The long wait is finally over, FIFA 22 is here!
Early access has begun with the EA Play Trial now live, and the FUT Web App is hot on its heels.
As ever, early access and the FUT Web & Companion App are the best way to get started in Ultimate Team, so make sure you know how to make the most of them.
Early Access
FIFA 22's full release is not until Friday, 1 October so the EA play Trial is your first opportunity to get your hands on the game.
If you have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22 then you will have access to the full game on Monday, 27 September.
The EA Play Trial began on Wednesday, 22 September at 11am ET / 4pm BST, but you only have 10 hours of playing time, so make the most of it!

FUT Web App Essentials
Just like the 10-hour trial, there are things that you simply MUST do in the FUT Web App, take a look at them below.
Club admin
We are talking about general admin tasks for your clubs, such as choosing your kits and badges as well as team names and more.
The FUT Stadium feature is also a relatively new addition to the game, so that is worth sorting in the app too.
Quite often we see simple objectives that include these tasks, so there is a little bonus in there for when you do complete them.
Pack opening
Yes, pack opening is the most exciting part of Ultimate Team, but it is also time-consuming!
For now, while you have limited playing time, make sure you are doing your pack opening in the app.
Be sure to sort your packs out in the app too, you don't want to faff around with unassigned items when you are trying to play a match.
SBCs
Another great way to kickstart your club is completing the early season SBCs.
With plenty of handy packs and coin rewards, you MUST do these to get your club up and running.
It goes without saying though, DON'T do this in your 10 hours of free playtime!
Squad management
There is plenty of time to sort your squads out, so why do it in the game?
Manage your teams on the go and make sure they are ready to hit the pitch by putting your team together in the FUT Web App.
Custom tactics can be a bit trickier, but if you know what you want then you can do that in the app too.
Trading
Trading is the fastest and most effective way of earning coins for your club, and it can all be done in the app.
Often the Web App can be more responsive too, always a bonus when trying to snag a bargain!
The transfer market can be a tricky place in FUT if you don't know what you are doing, so you are better off taking your time rather than rushing during the EA Play Trial.
