FIFA 22: How does the TOTGS promo work in Ultimate Team?

Release Date

The latest FIFA 22 Ultimate Team loading screen has confirmed the release date for the TOTGS event.

The loading screen confirms that the promo will commence on Friday, 3 December 2021.

The promo will begin at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, like all other FUT releases.

The fresh batch of cards will replace the Signature Signings cards in packs immediately.

There's a chance that this will be a two-week promo, with a Team 1 and Team 2 released, but we think it's more likely to run for just one week, with the FUT Freeze event taking over on Friday, 10 December.

How does the TOTGS promo work?

The Team of the Group Stage promo will involve EA releasing a squad in FUT 22.

This squad will include a selection of the best performers from the group stages in each European clubs competition this season.

We are expecting EA to release players from the Champions League, Europa League and the Europa Conference League competitions.

The players selected will receive big boosts to their base cards, in order to emulate their form in Europe.

EA will also release special themed Weekly Objectives and SBCs cards alongside the main squad, so keep an eye out for these!
