The cost of La Liga players in Ultimate Team varies massively, meaning we have invested heavily in a couple of players, with the rest of the team made up of reasonably cheap cards.
We've set up as a 4-3-3, with the midfield free to get forward as they please and the wingers offering pace and skill to get past defenders and cross to the striker or take on a shot themselves.

Sergio Asenjo (OVR 83)
With the top three goalkeepers in La Liga being rated 89+ OVR, they are a bit out of our price range.
But that's fine because Sergio Asenjo is very capable to cover between the sticks until you can afford to upgrade.

Jesus Navas (OVR 84)
Still pacey despite his age, Jesus Navas can get up the wing and provide as well as being solid defensively.
Don't try to outmuscle any players though, as he only has 39 Strength.

Jules Kounde (OVR 83)
It's a toss-up between Jules Kounde and David Alaba for one of the CB positions, but we've opted for Kounde as he gives a bit more pace, defensive ability, and physicality.
If you prefer a ball-playing CB, go for Alaba.

Eder Militao (OVR 82)
Eder Militao is a must at CB, with strong stats in pace, defending, and physicality.
His price has dropped significantly, and at one stage you would have to pay around 50,000 for the man.

Jose Gaya (OVR 83)
Finishing off the back four is Jose Gaya at left-back.
Jordi Alba would be our first choice but would add 10k to the price, so Gaya comes in for a decent second.

Koke (OVR 85)
In midfield, we have a couple of box-box players, the first being Koke.
With 85 PAS he will string play together, but will also provide good defensive cover with 79 DEF.

Federico Valverde (OVR 83)
The other box-to-box player is a must-have in any La Liga team, Federico Valverde.
With great all-round attributes including 86 PAC, he will be the main legs in midfield to sniff out opposition attacks.

Nabil Fekir (OVR 84)
Nabil Fekir will operate as the main attacking threat from midfield, intended to carry the ball outside the box with his 87 DRI, then find the killer pass or get off a shot himself.

Ousmane Dembele (OVR 83)
The big money man of the squad, Ousmane Dembele can use his pace and 5-star skill moves to get past defenders.
A lot of your attacking threat will come from this man, who can cut in and shoot on his left, or go outside and cross with his 5-star week foot.

Karim Benzema (OVR 89)
FIFA 22's gameplay has really shown off how good Karim Benzema is, in part because it isn't as reliant on pace.
With 90 Finishing, 90 Positioning, and 89 Heading Accuracy, when you find Benzema in the box he will more than likely provide a goal.

Vinicius (OVR 80)
We wish the budget would stretch to include one of Vinicius' in-form cards, but then you're looking at anywhere between 200k and 650k for one player.
His base card is far from awful, with 95 PAC, 87 DRI, and 5-star skill moves, he will provide the same threat that Dembele does on the other side.
