All the new Black Ops Cold War maps are out now

The next update for Black Ops Cold War, Season 2 Reloaded, is here and we're talking about the new maps.

Golova, from Outbreak, Miami Strike and Mansion are all arriving in this mid-season update.

LATEST - Miami Strike 24/7 Is Coming

Unusually, Treyarch has dropped their mid-season update a little earlier than expected. It went live at 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST on March 30th.

That means that all the new maps are live in-game right now! What's more is that Miami Strike, the new 6v6 map, is getting its own 24/7 playlist for the next week at least.

" Jump into the new Miami Strike 24/7 playlist this week to get your 6v6 fix, featuring a mix of TDM, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint modes."

If these aren't enough, Treyarch has promised that more multiplayer maps are on the way in Season Three. So... Not long to wait!

Preloading is here

If you're on a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you might have noticed a new update for Black Ops Cold War.

Reports are beginning to come in that suggest preloading for the Season 2 Reloaded update is here and they seem pretty concrete.

Although, there is some deliberation as to when the update will drop. Several prominent leakers are suggesting that Season 2 Reloaded will begin on March 30th at 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST.

With every major Call of Duty content update dropping on a Thursday, we're not sure this is the case.

Rather, this early installation is probably just another step that allows Treyarch to seamlessly integrate and release the content that's coming in the next update on Thursday during the regular update time period.

New Look At The New Maps

Over the last few days, Treyarch has shared an exciting look at a couple of the new BOCW maps that are due to be added in the Season 2 Reloaded update next week.

Mansion is a smaller 2v2/3v3 map.

Miami Strike is the next 6v6 map getting added to Multiplayer and Onslaught (on PlayStation).

We already know what Golova looks like thanks to Outbreak, but we haven't seen much of what Sanatorium (Night) will look like when it's added to the Zombies Mode's map rotation in the next update.

New Maps

From previous communications, we know for certain that at least three new maps are coming to Black Ops Cold War's Multiplayer in Season 2 Reloaded.

Golova - 6v6 & Multi-Team

Golova is one of the new maps coming to Black Ops Cold War in Season 2 Reloaded. Set in a traditional Russian Village, this map will feature in both standard and larger multi-team playlists.

GOLOVA - This map already features on Outbreak, but it's joining Multi soon
" A testing ground for the expansion of the Numbers Program, Golova features plenty of close-quarter combat opportunities throughout the town, from a massive church to its rows of houses and industrial park. The stair-stepped terrain on which the town was built still provides some long-range firefight opportunities but encourages tighter, CQB plays around its objective areas."

Mansion - 2v2 & 3v3

Mansion is a smaller Gunfight map that will be added to that separate map rotation going forward. That isn't to say we won't see an expansion of the location for a 6v6 map in the future, though...

MANSION - This new gunfight map promises to be intense!
" Set in Havana, Cuba at the Hefe Mansion (last seen in the Campaign’s “End of the Line” mission), this small map takes place across both courtyards: an eastern one with two palm trees and a gazebo, and a western one with a statue sitting atop a non-functional fountain. These open courtyards contrast to a centre wrapped room with a small side hallway and an exposed balcony that can serve as a risky power position."

Miami Strike - 6v6

Although we don't have a new image of Miami Strike just yet, we know a few things about it.

" With the sun glistening off the colourful murals of Miami’s South Beach neighbourhood, Miami Strike will focus the action into a smaller daytime rendition of the original map. Whether it's a white-knuckle game of TDM or a tense Hardpoint battle, the heat is always on in the streets of Miami."

Miami Strike is going to be a smaller version of the current Miami map and it'll be a daytime variant. This should open up the centre of the map much more and promises to keep things fresh going forward.

It also seems like a new Outbreak location is on the way, although we don't know anything else other than this teaser:

Release Date

There might not be an official release date yet, but we do know when we're expecting the next major Call of Duty update.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded is expected to arrive either this week or next!

With Season One Reloaded coming a month after the first season launched, we are fairly certain that Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is coming on March 25th or April 1st.

The team behind Call of duty are not going to be strangers to delaying things though, if necessary. Still, we would be surprised if anything released later than what we've suggested above.
