How to get free Pathfinder Skin on Apex Legends Switch

Apex Legends launches on Switch today, part way into Season 8, so Respawn are granting players a free Pathfinder skin to make up for lost time.

Season 8 began a few weeks ago, so Switch players will lose out on some levelling up time.

Free Pathfinder Skin

The Pathfinder skin will only be free for players who download the Switch version of the game on March 9.

The skin in question is called P.A.T.H. and looks pretty impressive. It'll certainly make you stand out on the battlefield. You can see it below.

When you load up Apex Legends on Switch, you'll be able to find it in your inventory. Simply select Pathfinder and switch out his skin to the free one.

You'll be able to claim the skin between the game's launch date and the end of Season 8, which is due to be on May 14. Be sure to jump in between now and then.

Season 8 Battle Pass

Apex Legends Switch players will also get a boost in the Season 8 battle pass, so that they've not lost out from starting late.

They will get "30 free levels for their Season 8 Battle Pass." And "for the first two weeks after launch, playing on Switch will also earn you double XP."

That is on top of the Switch exclusive free Pathfinder skin.

Everything else in the Switch version will be the same, including the battle pass content.

The new Chaos Theory Event will also be live in the Switch version of the game, at the same time as the port's launch.
