New The Sims Summer Event Information Being Teased

The Sims is well known for cryptic marketing and fun advertisements. Just last month, before the announcement of cottage living, players around the world received fun postcards hinting at the latest expansion pack.

Today, we received another little piece in a big puzzle with the latest summer event. The summer of sims is the latest event to take over the sims, promising tonnes of new content and little surprises along the way. Here's what we know so far.

The Sims Summer Event Tease

Over on their Twitter page, the team like to hint at new things all the time. Today's tweet is no different. You can see it for yourself below.

In this, they hint at some big announcement for the summer of Sims but leave it at that. They give the Simlish post underneath but I couldn't find a concrete Simlish alphabet so there's a chance a solid one doesn't exist.

What Does This Mean?

Before doing this, we should jump back to the Summer of Sims poster from the middle of May. It hints at some of what was to come and we are lucky enough to already know what about half of this poster means. Have a look for yourself below.

From looking at this pack, we can predict that the next announcement has something to do with either "Rock out at the Sims Event of the Summer" or "Ride 3 waves of base game updates" so we should keep our eye out for either.

Regardless of what happens, we can guarantee some big piece of content is making its way to the game very soon. With EA Play Live just a month away maybe we can even see some hints to the next game in the Sims franchise, The Sims 5.
