The Louis Vuitton "Louis Dreamhouse" show saw many significant moments including a guest appearance from Tyler, the Creator, however, one of the most notable occurrences for sneaker fans was the reveal of LVs new High 8 and LVSK8 trainers.

The show actually featured the final collection from the late Virgil Abloh, and some of his signature touches can be seen throughout these new skate-inspired designs.

With that being said, here's everything we know so far about these sneakers release dates.

Louis Vuitton High 8 And LVSK8 Release Date

As of right now, the release date for both these sneakers is yet to be revealed.

Reports suggest we will likely see these sneakers debut later this year, most likely alongside the "Louis Dreamhouse" collection, however, this is yet to be confirmed by the brand.

Unknown release dates have very much been a theme of recent Louis Vuitton footwear, with the upcoming debut of the Louis Vuitton x Off-White x Air Force 1 collaboration also a mystery.

With so much speculation, make sure you check back in as we'll be keeping this article updated with any further announcements in the near future.

Louis Vuitton High 8 And LVSK8 Design

As previously mentioned, both sneakers feature designs reminiscent of the skate shoes worn in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, with perhaps the more skate-like of the two being the LVSK8.

Pictured here in a blue, green, and a more refined cream colourway, the LVSK8 trainers feature a number of big and bold elements including thick laces, padded tongues, and heavily-layered uppers made from a combination of mesh and leather.

You also get a number of signature Louis Vuitton design touches such as 'LV54' branding across the heel which pays tribute to the year the company was founded, and the LV-style flower and motifs displayed on the laterals and midsole.

On the other end of the spectrum, the High 8 offers more of a basketball-style look akin to some of the best basketball shoes around.

It appears each colourway is made from premium leather, with the sneakers signature detail being the wing-like heel that wraps around towards the eyestay.

Other details to note include the large padded tongue featuring a crippled aesthetic, the same LV motifs from the LVSK8 across the midsole, and the LV logo displayed right in the centre of the lateral.

Louis Vuitton High 8 And LVSK8 Price

With so little information out there, predicting how much this extremely high-end and likely sought-after collection of Louis Vuitton sneakers will cost is tough.

Most reports haven't specified a price tag with most of the information surrounding these sneakers still a mystery.

Generally speaking though, Louis Vuitton footwear usually retails somewhere around $1,200, so these sneakers will almost certainly be a premium product.

Where To Buy Louis Vuitton High 8 And LVSK8

Finding the best place to buy these high-end sneakers is challenging, and picking up a pair before they sell out will likely be equally as hard.

Of course, one of the first places these sneakers could drop is at the Louis Vuitton store under either the New or Trainers subsections.

If this is unsuccessful, then we'd recommend checking out the resale market on StockX.
