PS5 Stock Update
If you're looking for a PS5 console today, we've got bad news.
You might have to wait until late May to get your hands on the next generation of PlayStation gaming as stock shortages hit major UK Retailers hard. StockInformer confirms that there's currently no stock in any major UK Retailer. You might have luck in person as non-essential shops are now open but... This is a bit of a stretch.
GAME has updated their listing to state that they won't be releasing any stock until at least May 27th and other retailers appear to have similar news.
There is, of course, CEX and eBay but they sell second-hand equipment at inflated prices a lot of the time. If you can wait, we recommend that but the option is there.
MLB The Show 21 Early Access
MLB The Show 21 isn't out just yet, but the Early Access period has started and there are a few exclusive rewards for players who are jumping in early.
If you got the Jackie Robinson Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition of the upcoming MLB game, you'll be able to get four days of full Early Access from today.
MLB The Show 21 will be fully released on April 20th, so there are only a few days to wait if you haven't pre-ordered it yet.
Aloy Joins Fortnite
In other news, PlayStation's own Nora Seeker Aloy has joined Epic Games' Fortnite in the latest collaborative crossover to get you spending your V-Bucks!
There's a new LTM featuring Lara Croft and Aloy as Duos Partners, which we love, and the Aloy Cup that offers players a chance to get their hands on the new skin.
If you play Fortnite on a PS5 with the Aloy skin, you can also unlock a Banuk Ice Hunter variant (similarly to how you could unlock an additional Kratos appearance previously).
New Resident Evil 8 Demo
That's right! Another Resident Evil PlayStation 4 AND PlayStation 5 demo is on the way tomorrow, April 17th. We're not sure exactly what this demo will entail, but it'll be another hour or so of Resident Evil Village and Lady Dimitrescu. So, we can't complain.
What's interesting is how this new Resident Evil Demo will work. You'll only need to download it once and there will be one 30-minute Demo and then a 60-minute demo available a week later!
