Which teams got left out and don't have an X Factor player?

If you're combing through the list wondering where your favorite team's Superstar X Factor is at, there's a chance you're looking in vain.

Seven different NHL teams didn't make the cut, and not a single player from their rosters received a Superstar X Factor in NHL 22.

The following teams do not have a player with a Superstar X Factor:

  • Anaheim Ducks
  • Arizona Coyotes
  • Columbus Blue Jackets
  • Detroit Red Wings
  • Ottawa Senators
  • San Jose Sharks
  • Seattle Kraken

While it's possible that these abilities could change throughout the year as the NHL season starts around the time NHL 22 is released, we haven't heard any word yet about potential changes.

If any of these seven teams can find momentum this year, there would definitely be a case worth making about at least one player from each getting their own Superstar X Factor ability.
