NEXT Packs spotlight rookies from NBA Draft in NBA 2K21

The NBA Draft is today, and with it comes a new NBA 2K21 MyTEAM release featuring some of the top future rookies.

The NBA Draft is an exciting time for any player involved. However, making your debut in NBA 2K21 has to be pretty exciting too.

The top 2021 NBA Draft Picks can now be claimed in NEXT Packs for NBA 2K21 MyTEAM, and here's what you need to know about getting one of your own.

NBA 2K21 features future rookies in MyTEAM

Of course, it's great to claim as many packs as you can but who could you get? If you aren't familiar with college basketball, you might not know some of these names.

Each of these players is considered the best of the draft class, which is why they've been included in packs.

Dark Matter & Galaxy Opal versions

There are options aside from NEXT packs to claim these draft pick additions. The Dark Matter and Galaxy Opal packs are still available for the 12 draft picks mentioned above but you'll have to hurry.

You'll only have until Season 9 to pick up these different versions of the 12 future rookies and add them to your MyTEAM squad.

How to Watch the 2021 NBA Draft

With the NBA Draft happening tonight there's been plenty of speculation as to who will be the first pick off the board.

Cade Cunningham leads the charge as the expected first pick but Jalen Green follows closely behind. Of course, it depends on the team doing the selection, as they have to decide based on their needs. However, based on skill, Cunningham and Green lead the group.

If you're looking to watch it all go down live, the NBA Draft is set to air at 8pm ET on July 29, 2021 on ESPN and ABC.
