Genshin Impact 2.3 launches in less than a day! The adventure is going back to Dragonspine, where we will meet again with Albedo and Eula.
We already received a general picture of what is coming next during the official 2.3 Livestream last week.
For those that cannot wait to get their hands on the next patch, this is a guide to preload the majority of the files in advance.
Release Date
Genshin Impact 2.3 Shadow Amidst Snowstorms will go live on November 24, 2021, at 11 am server time.
For different regions, the update will arrive at the following times locally:
- November 23, 7:00 p.m. PDT
- November 23, 10:00 p.m. EST
- November 23, 3:00 a.m. GMT
The server's maintenance will start around 6:00 am, and it will take about five hours. Players will receive a compensation of 300 Primogems.
If for any reason, the maintenance takes longer, players will receive 60 Primogems for every hour of delayed.

LATEST- Preload Information
Genshin Impact players can start preloading the next update.
The new Genshin Impact 2.3 file size is 3.75Gb for Android and IOS and around 6.0Gb for PC players.
How to Preload on PC
To preload on PC, you must boot up the game launcher and click on the "Game Pre-Installation" option on the screen.
After this, the game update should automatically install. Travelers can still play while pre-installing game resources.
Pre-installation will take up some bandwidth, so you may find it hard to play without a good internet connection during the process.
How to Preload on Mobile
Mobile players need to log into your account and go onto the "Paimon Menu." To do this, go to settings, then click "Pre-Install Resource Package."
If this doesn't work, you may spot the package on the main menu after you've logged in. Just click on it to get everything installed.
Travelers in Mobile cannot play the game while they are downloading resources.
Playstation Preloading
Unfortunately for Playstation travelers, there is no option to pre-load yet, so you'll have to wait for the download to finish after launch.
