One thing we certain of is the presence of Ones to Watch cards, and one of them could be French titan Raphael Varane.
Still a Real Madrid player for the time being, Varane may be on the move before the transfer window slams shut.
The most popular and lucrative mode in the FIFA franchise is Ultimate Team, so this is where EA focuses its efforts.
EA has revealed the latest FUT Heroes to join the FIFA 22 roster during the pre-show at EA Play Live.
First up was former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Lars Ricken! Ricken is one of the heroes of the Borussia Dortmund team that won the 1997 UEFA Champions League, having scored just 16 seconds after being subbed on in the final.
The second new hero confirmed is Manchester United striker turned manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer!
Ole won the Premier League and Champions League with Man Utd, scoring some crucial goals along the way.

Ones to Watch
Ones to Watch cards have featured in the past couple of Ultimate Team seasons, and they will return again as the first set of special cards on the new game.
The cards included are selected from the top summer transfers and are given dynamic ratings that increase with every selection in Team of the Week.
Some big names have already made moves this summer, so this could be the most stacked OTW promo we have ever seen.
With the likes of Jadon Sancho, David Alaba, Sergio Ramos, Sergio Aguero, and Georginio Wijnaldum all in contention, there is plenty of choice for EA.
Signing of the summer
In terms of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, the signing of Raphael Varane by Manchester United could be the biggest of the summer.
Manchester United are interested in signing Varane, that is no secret, but will the deal happen?
The athletic Varane would pair perfectly with Harry Maguire, and we would love to see Varane with Premier League chemistry links next season.
Early on in FIFA 22, we could see Varane and Liverpool's new boy Ibrahima Konate as the dominant CB pairing.
