FIFA 22 Erik Lamela Objectives: How to unlock the FUT Birthday card for FREE

The FUT Birthday promo has entered its second week in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, which means Team 2 has arrived with loads more boosted cards, SBCs and objectives to complete.

EA has handed a certain Argentine winger a FUT Birthday card that is completely FREE to unlock.

Erik Lamela (OVR 87)

Sevilla midfielder Erik Lamela has been handed an awesome new FUT Birthday objectives card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

You can also unlock a FUT Birthday Swap Token in the process of completing Lamela.

Start & Expiry Date

• Start Date – Friday, 11 March
• End Date – Friday, 18 March

How to Unlock

You'll need to complete four different objectives in order to unlock the 87-rated FUT Birthday Lamela card for your Ultimate Team.

The requirements are as follows:

Squad Battle Success

• Win 5 Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty, with 11 LaLiga players in your starting squad

Pack Reward: 75+ Rated Rare Player (Untradeable) + 300 XP

THREAD THE NEEDLE

Thread The Needle

• Assist with a Through ball using players with min. 4* Weak Foot in 3 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty

Pack Reward: Gold Pack (Untradeable) + 300 XP

Argentinian Accuracy

• Score 15 goals using Argentinian players in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty

Pack Reward: Two Players Pack (Untradeable) + 300 XP

Midfield Magic

• Score using Midfielders in 10 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty, with 11 LaLiga players in your starting squad

Pack Reward: Small Electrum Players Pack (Untradeable) + 300 XP

FUT Birthday

FUT Birthday is a returning promo, which celebrates the anniversary of FIFA Ultimate Team.

Each year the event sees fan favourite players given enormous boosts, with cards released into packs, new SBCs, and objectives.

The cards released usually have boosts to skill moves and weak foot as well as the regular attributes, so it offers plenty of new and exciting options.

The event will run for two weeks, with Team 1 released on Friday, 4 March, and Team 2 following on Friday, 11 March.

This year we are also getting a Token Swaps system as part of the release.

We are used to Token Swaps from Icon Swaps, and this season EA has brought them into other promos, with Winter Wildcards and Future Stars also using the system to give additional rewards.
