Treyarch has finally shared actual gameplay from Mauer Der Toten

There's a new Call of Duty Zombies map on the way to Black Ops Cold War and Mauer Der Toten looks like it could be one of the best ones out there! Here's everything you need to know about the latest trailer (which actually offers us a look at the new Wonder Weapon!)

NEW Mauer Der Toten Gameplay Trailer

At long last, Treyarch has shared a Mauer Der Toten Gameplay Trailer. It looks like it could be one of the best COD Zombies experiences yet!

As you can see below, we get a new look at the Wonder Weapon, the new Special / Elite Enemies we'll be facing off against and a glimpse of Klaus in action. The map is going to continue with the Dark Aether storyline that's being built and it looks like it's going to live up to the hype.

What Do We Know About The Map So Far?

We learned about Mauer Der Toten in the new gameplay trailer. This includes a look at its psionic Zombie foes, destroyed city landscape, and wonder weapons players will use to fend off the hordes.

Treyarch had the following to say in their Call of Duty Season 4 Summary Blog Post earlier in the month:

" Fans of “Die Maschine,” “Firebase Z,” and other classic round-based Zombies experiences will be welcomed home in “Mauer der Toten,” the next chapter in the Black Ops Cold War Zombies coming mid-season.

" Taking place after the events of “Operation Excision” in Outbreak, the Dark Aether story will continue in Treyarch’s next Zombies map, where players will take on new terrors in war-torn East Berlin after a devastating zombie invasion has overtaken the city.

" The Zombies team is chomping at the bit to share more about this new experience soon, but for now, expect “Mauer der Toten” to offer plenty of new twists, turns, and terrifying undead threats for players to conquer."

Along with these teasers Treyarch revealed blueprints that show Mauer Der Toten will bring some new Wonder Weapons, likely tied to the map's Easter Eggs.

Mauer Der Toten Teaser Confirms Setting

Earlier in the month, Treyarch hosted a Special Broadcast about Season 4 and its relationship to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. They talked about the new weapons, the new Warzone narrative, and the new faces we'll be seeing.

However, they also mentioned Black Ops Cold War's Zombies... Thanks to TheGamingRevolution on YouTube, we have a new look at the Mauer Der Toten trailer they showed. It's brief but exciting...

Black Ops Cold War's Zombies maps are all quite expansive, larger than anything we've seen before, so the varying locales we see in the above Mauer Der Toten trailer could all be featured in some variety in the playable map.
