Amongst these also comes a brand-new set of dungeons, ones that completely throw out the status quo of what it means to go into a five-man and introduce new mechanics and more.
So far, for Dragonflight, there will be eight new dungeons for players to experience. Amongst these come the return of Uldaman—and its Lost Dwarves—with a new wing thanks to a newly discovered chamber, the Legacy of Tyr, Neltharus, the original home and stronghold of the Black Dragonflight, and The Life Pools, the former home of the Red Dragonflight.
Here's the full list of the new dungeons:
- Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr
- Taz'algeth Academy
- Ruby Life Pools
- Halls of Infusion
- The Azure Vault

Old dungeons join the Mythic+ pool with Dragonflight
On top of the eight new dungeons joining in Dragonflight, the expansion will also integrate several old dungeons from previous expansions into the Mythic+ pool.
So far, according to an interview with content creator, Toweliee, World of Warcraft Game Director, Ion Hazzikostas, confirmed that Temple of the Jade Serpent from Mists of Pandaria and Court of Stars from Legion will be taking part.
"The current plan—we already have our four picked out for Season 1. It's a couple of Legion dungeons, a Warlords [of Draenor], and a Mists [of Pandaria] dungeon," Hazzikotas stated. "We're doing Temple of the Jade Serpent from Mists, Court of Stars from Legion, and a couple [of] others."
Alongside players getting to revisit some of the older dungeons, the game developer mentioned that for those, in particular, they'd be "super open" to making changes where need be pending player feedback.
"The [dev] team is super open to making changes to the flow of the dungeon: looking at pacing, looking at mechanics that made sense for a heroic dungeon queue experience but wouldn't make sense if you're in a Mythic+ timed format."
