MLB The Show 22 Roster Update brings minor ratings shift (June 16)

While we didn't get a massive groundbreaking MLB The Show 22 roster update this week with top player ratings in flux, Sony San Diego has dropped a handful of changes.

Since launch, they've stuck fairly close to the biweekly schedule of an MLB The Show 22 roster update every two weeks making major ratings adjustments.

ALWAYS SHIFTING: These changes aim to keep the in-game rosters in line with real-world MLB moves

On top of that, off weeks like this will sometimes drop a smaller update focused on minor ratings shifts, new players, and transactions like position changes.

These aren't focused on players the caliber of the now dethroned Mike Trout, but we've got details on all the ratings changes that just went live.

Here are the only 10 players who saw attribute ratings changes in the June 16 MLB The Show 22 roster update:

  • Spencer Strider - 77 OVR (+5) - Atlanta Braves
  • Tanner Houck - 75 OVR (+4) - Boston Red Sox
  • Caleb Kilian - 70 OVR (+2) - Chicago Cubs
  • Paolo Espino - 70 OVR (+4) - Washington Nationals
  • Michael Rucker - 68 OVR (+5) - Chicago Cubs
  • Zach Logue - 64 OVR (+5) - Oakland Athletics

  • Thomas Szapucki - 63 OVR (+6) - New York Mets
  • Rony Garcia - 59 OVR (+3) - Detroit Tigers

While not the biggest moves, this did see Strider and Houck jump to Silver tier and Rucker to Bronze, and any continued moves could make them quality low-risk investments.
