MLB The Show 22 Roster Update brings new Diamonds (May 26)

After another off week of simple transaction updates, the newest MLB The Show 22 roster update with attribute changes has arrived.

With the season settling in a bit, we've got a slightly smaller update this time around with just four new Diamonds in Diamond Dynasty.

Jazz Chisholm, Shane McClanahan, C.J. Cron, and Paul Goldschmidt all made major leaps this week to put them in that 85+ upper echelon as Diamond tier.

Other top players like Aaron Judge, Jose Ramirez, Manny Machado, and Mookie Betts also saw an increase in their already solid ratings.

It's not all positive though, as a few big names slid with Mike Trout, Nolan Arenado, Freddie Freeman, and Carlos Rodon all seeing a decrease this week.

Francisco Lindor and Walker Buehler, both exactly 85 OVR prior to this update, saw a decrease and as a result have each lost their Diamond status and were demoted to Gold this time.

Finally, players should keep their eyes on Taylor Ward who jumped up from 79 OVR and Silver to an 84 OVR upgraded Gold that is very likely to go Diamond in the next update if he continues to play well.
