The Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the most hotly anticipated RPGs in gaming right now. Following up on the hugely successful Skyrim, the team have an awful lot to live up to. Here's what we know about its release date so far.

Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date Information

As of right now, we don't have an official confirmation of a release date. This being said, we do have some information. Right now, the biggest project that Bethesda Studios, the developer behind The Elder Scrolls 6, is working on is Starfield. A huge space RPG - this is sure to have taken a very long time. This being said, it is currently prepping for a launch later this year on November 11th.

After Starfield releases and the initial patches and bug fixes are out, Elder Scrolls VI appears to be the main thing they are working on. It is technically possible we could see news on Fallout 5 or something entirely new.

There is an Xbox and Bethesda showcase planned for June 12th, mere week away, and we're hoping to see an official release window there. If we could just get a year, that would tell us a lot about how development is going and where it could go from here.

Elder Scrolls 6 Announcement

Elder Scrolls 6 was announced officially way back in 2018. At that point, the game was in pre-production, meaning the team was planning out the game, story and mechanics but it hadn't fully begun yet.

Bethesda games have an infamously long development cycle due to their high attention to detail and huge worlds. It seems likely that The Elder Scrolls VI is still a good amount of time away but it is likely a huge focus right now. If any new pieces of information come out, we'll update you right here.
