Madden 23 Update addresses Season 2 Field Pass issues

Another Madden 23 update has arrived in hopes of remedying issues with the recent launch of the Season 2 Field Pass.

Madden 23 update fixes Season 2 Field Pass bug

Following the recent rollout of the Madden 23 Ultimate Team Season 2 Field Pass along with Most Feared, some players haven't been able to enjoy it as intended.

Despite the major Madden 23 Title Update that arrived in anticipation of those drops, not everything was fixed properly by EA this time around.

With multiple gamers facing problems that made the Season 2 Field Pass unusable, they've actually deployed a small back-end Madden 23 update.

This new Madden 23 update was confirmed by Madden NFL Direct on Twitter, and this is what they had to say:

"An update that went live this morning has resolved an issue where some users were not able to access Season 2 Field Pass. If any users are still experiencing issues, please let us know. Thank you."

No major Madden 23 Patch Notes or any other details have been released for this update, and they aren't likely to arrive.

While patch notes have already been hit or miss throughout the year, this is likely all the info we'll receive as this appears to have deployed in the back-end without triggering a full patch download.

Field Pass has had issues all year long

The issues with the Madden 23 Field Pass aren't new, which is a sad reality considering the feature itself was only introduced this year.

Levels and rewards have always been a staple of Ultimate Team, but the newly formatted Field Pass reminiscent of the Battle Pass in other games has struggled since being announced.

Field Pass rewards have had problems distributing as intended to players since launch, and complaints about the feature have been pretty consistent.

Other issues in Ultimate Team like Daily Objectives not providing XP seem to remain based on the replies to the latest update, but hopefully a larger set of fixes will be on the agenda in the next few weeks.
