Best contract expiry signings in Football Manager 2024

We start with the Original FM mode. Contracts of these players will expire at the end of the first season (30/6/24).

Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe will likely play his last season at PSG. Real Madrid are big admirers of the French superstar, and they will try to take him to Santiago Bernabeu. However, you can act quickly and open negotiations with his agent (his mother, Fayza Lamari).

Vinicius Jr

Now, if Madrid bring Mbappe to Spain, it's probable that they will not renew Vinicius Jr's contract. Perhaps the player himself will be looking for a new challenge. You'd need a massive wage budget to sign any of these two, though.

Manuel Neuer

Neuer is still recovering from a lengthy injury, and although there were some rumours about his retirement, he announced he has no intention to retire. You have an opportunity to get one of the best goalkeepers in Football Manager 2024 and offer him a contract before Bayern Munich does.

Luka Modric

Modric didn't want to go to Saudi Arabia and decided to stay at Santiago Bernabeu instead. Still, it will be his final season in Madrid, and even though he's 38 now, there is still enough fuel in his engine.

Thiago

Thiago is a classy midfielder and would be an upgrade to any team. The problem is that he is injury-prone. So if you want a starter that will play 90% of the games a season, you should look elsewhere.

Best contract expiry players in FM24 - Your World

Harry Kane

We know Kane moved to Bayern Munich from Tottenham, but in Your World, you can get him to your club. Your wage budget would suffer, though.

Kyle Walker

Walker recently signed a new contract at City in Real World. But if you are looking for an experienced right-back who still has a lot to offer, make sure to get him before he extends his contract.

Alejandro Balde

One of the most exciting young left-backs in Football Manager 2024. Balde is Barcelona's future but with Barca's financial problems, in case you have money to spend on wages, he can be yours.

Ousmane Dembele

Dembele went to PSG in Real World, and Barcelona will likely sell him before his contract expires in June 2024. Unless you want to splash the cash on the French winger, look elsewhere.

Benjamin Pavard

Pavard took a couple of months to decide whether he'd stay at Bayern or join Inter. He went to Inter eventually for relatively low transfer money, and even though Inter wanted him at the start of Your World, you can steal him from the Italians.
