Who is the highest rated player in FIFA 23?

FIFA 23 is nearly upon us, with the game's top-rated stars now revealed.

EA has rolled out the ratings for the top players in this year's game, and there are a couple of surprises at the top!

FIFA 23 Top Rated Star

The best players in FIFA 23 are Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, and Kevin De Bruyne.

All five players share an overall rating of 91, making them the highest-rated in this year's game.

Kylian Mbappe

It's no surprise that FIFA 23 cover star Kylian Mbappe has made it to the top, with the French superstar signing a bumper contract to stay in Paris.

His performances are increasing year on year and the future Ballon d'Or winner is now sat amongst the very best in the world.

Lionel Messi

The highest-rated star in FIFA 22, Lionel Messi has at least maintained that status, albeit joint with fellow superstars.

Messi's first season in Paris was far from perfect and a subsequent downgrade has been delivered to the Argentine.

Robert Lewandowski

He's swapped Bayern for Barca but his status as one of the world's best certainly hasn't changed.

A lethal goalscorer who is more than deserving of the praise that follows him, Lewandowski is once again amongst the best in FIFA 23.

Karim Benzema

Given his electric season last term and his top performances for both club and country, Karim Benzema could easily scoop the Ballon d'Or this year.

He's received a major boost in FIFA 23, and the deadly French forward is now looking to go one step further.

Kevin De Bruyne

Man City's midfield maestro joins the game's elite and shares the top spot with some incredible players.
