FIFA 23 Title Update #1: Patch Notes reveal NO gameplay changes

It's only been a few days since the worldwide release of FIFA 23 and we've already got our first title update.

Luckily (for those of us who love it), the gameplay has not been altered.

Release Date

As announced on the FIFA Direct Communication Twitter account, Title Update #1 is now available on PC (Origin/EA app/Steam/Epic Games Store) versions of FIFA 23.

The update was released on Tuesday, 4 October for PC and addresses various error messages users were encountering.

The Patch Notes are very simple and are as follows:

General

• Addressed a number of the following error message instances seen by players when attempting to launch the title:
  • “Failure to update process.”
  • “Can’t start system service.”
  • “The application has encountered an unrecoverable error.”
• Improved a stability issue that could occur when a device with force feedback was plugged into the PC while playing the title.
