FIFA 23 MLS Moments Player Pick Objectives - Unlock FREE card for Mukhtar or Thiago Martins

The Showdown Series promo has returned to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with plenty of SBCs on the way, re-released promo cards and Objectives!

A new Live FUT Friendly and corresponding Objectives set have also dropped, with the MLS Moments Player Pick offering pack rewards on the way to a Player Moments player pick.

Friendly Requirements

Before we get on to the Objective requirements, let's take a look at the restrictions for the Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff you will need to complete them in.

Start Date: Friday, 24 February

Expiry Date: Friday, 3 March

You can enter the MLS Kickoff an unlimited amount of times, with Max Chemistry rules applied.

The requirements for the mode are as follows:

• Maximum one Loan player
• Minimum three Countries/Regions
• Minimum five MLS players in your starting 11
• Maximum 87 Team Overall Rating

MLS Moments Player Pick

Start Date: Friday, 24 February

Expiry Date: Friday, 3 March

Objective Requirements

To unlock the group reward of a Player Pick between Player Moments Hany Mukhtar (OVR 87) and Player Moments Thiago Martins (OVR 87) you will need to complete five challenges, with the requirements as follows:

MLS MVP

• Score a goal in 4 separate matches using German players in the Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff.

Reward - 1 x 80+ Rare Gold Player Pack

Eyes in the Sky

• Assist 4 goals using a Through Ball in the Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff while having at least 5 MLS players in your starting squad.

Reward - 1 x 75+ Rare Player Pack

Powerful Finish

• Score 8 goals using players with Min. 83 SHO in Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff while having at least 5 MLS players in your starting squad.

Reward - 1 x Small Electrum Players Pack

Goal Friendly

• Score at least 2 goals in 4 separate matches in the Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff.

Reward - 1 x Premium Gold Pack

Perfect 8

• Win 8 matches in Live FUT Friendly: MLS Kickoff while having at least 1 German player and 1 Brazilian player in your Starting squad.

Reward - 1 x 81+ Two Rare Gold Players Pack

Who to Pick?

Let's face it, neither of these players will be getting into your competitive squad!

However, they can still be a great addition to your MLS squad for future objectives.

Who you pick at the end of completing these objectives may come down to what previous SBCs you have completed, as you may already have a strong forward line with End of an Era Gonzalo Higuain, End of an Era Gareth Bale and Player Moments Carlos Vela!

Mukhtar won't improve that, so Thiago Martins would be the option to go for.

If you're wondering who has the better stats, then it's very close, with both able to gain the stats of a 92-rated player depending on what chemistry style you add to them.

We would opt for Thiago Martins, then stick a Shadow on him, however, picking Mukhtar and applying a Deadeye or Marksman would make him a handy CAM too.
