FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Team of the Season content continues to roll on, with the Ligue 1, Super Lig and Belgium Pro League TOTS squads now in packs.

A new Live FUT Friendly: First Goal Cup, with corresponding objectives, has been introduced, where you can gain packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated five matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

Once again there are a few objective players you can add to your squad for free, with representation from each promo team, and you can combine a few of the requirements.

The requirements for TOTS Dante mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: Ligue 1 Lineup, so you can't double up with the TOTS Moments Ludovic Ajorque, which need to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals.

However, you can complete the objectives for TOTS Alexandru Maxim and TOTS Wesley Hoedt in any FUT game mode, so you will already be working through some of the generic tasks and can bring on Dutch and Super Lig players from the bench to score so you are completing a couple more.

Unfortunately, you will be left needing to complete the 'win 10 matches in any FUT game mode with seven X league starters' for both the Maxim and Hoedt sets, and there is no workaround for these.

You have until Friday, 3 June to complete the Dante and Ajorque objectives, and until Sunday, 29 May for the Maxim and Hoedt ones, so they should be first on your to-do list.

If you don't bring Maxim or Hoedt to your club it won't be the end of the world, as they both play in minor leagues and you are unlikely to be using them in any of your main squads.

TOTS Swaps Set 2 has now been released, with loads of rewards available, so make sure you keep on top of all the token releases with our TOTS Token Tracker.

The Icon Swaps 3 Set 2 objectives are also live, so find out how to combine the requirements in order to gain all the Swaps and gain the best rewards!

You have until Monday, 20 June to complete all the tasks, so there is no rush just yet to power through them.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is a TOTS Moments Fabio Vieira.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

During Team of the Season, Weekend League rewards will become available at 3am ET / 8am BST on Wednesdays (instead of Mondays) if you did not complete all your matches.

This is because the schedule has changed, with FUT Champions now open between 4pm ET / 9pm BST on a Friday until 3am ET / 8am BST on a Wednesday, to allow for TOTS promo squads to be included as rewards.

Obviously, everyone will be wanting to see the 97 OVR Kylian Mbappe appear in their selection, but there are so many top choices you are bound to hit a great player, including multiple powerhouses in midfield!

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

A new Silver Stars card will be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 2 June, but aside from that, it should be a quiet day for new content.

The rewards are scheduled to change slightly when Season 7 drops, due to TOTW no longer coming out, with Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season making up the player pick pool if you finish Elite.

Get all the objectives players completed, work through Icon Swaps 3 objectives, and qualify for FUT Champions.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at the new time of 4pm ET / 9pm BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The Ligue 1 TOTS side will rotate out of packs, with the Serie A TOTS squad replacing them at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

RIDICULOUS - Rafael Leao looks set to gain an insane TOTS card

We should also get another SBC player and possibly a couple of objective players relating to the Serie A squad at the same time.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Although the Rest of World TOTS is scheduled for release on Sunday, 5 June, we wouldn't be surprised to see it drop a day earlier, just as the Super Lig TOTS did, so keep an eye out for that at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Other than that, Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will also be available as Squad Battle rewards throughout the promo but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

SUPER SERIE A - Some monstrous players will be released on Friday

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League, Icon Swaps and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

Then, there will be another (or potentially another two, depending on when the ROW squad drops) TOTS squad release at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, when the MLS TOTS replaces the Belgium Pro League TOTS in packs.

Live SBCs

To find out all the current Live SBCs, check out our SBC Hub.

Worth completing:

  • Marcelo Brozovic - A card that is so cheap you will have no problem completing it with fodder in your club, useful for future SBCs
  • Davy Klaassen - If you're in need of a cheap Eredivisie CM he has the stats of an 89-rated player on basic chemistry
  • Karim Benzema - In case you need to get rid of some high rated duplicates, bring in this 94-rated card with them
  • Adebayo Akinfenwa - Great to use in-game and cheap enough to complete
  • Christopher Nkunku - If you can't get his TOTS card, this is the next best thing, and not overly expensive
  • Benjamin Bourigeaud - One of the cheaper ways to bring in an 88-rated player
  • Iago Aspas - If you're after a brilliant La Liga striker, this could be your guy
  • Marco Verratti - A bit more costly than our other recommendations, but he is phenomenal in-game
  • Cristian Romero - Already one of the best Premier League centre-back options, and could get a +2 upgrade
