We're not far away from receiving official information regarding EA Sports FC 24, with EA's brand new game set to usher in a new era for football gaming.
With EA and FIFA's partnership over, the titular developer has wasted no time shaking hands with other major companies.
The latest deal for EA has seen them partner with iconic sports brand Nike.
Check below for all the details on the deal and what it could mean for future EA Sports FC titles.
EA Sports FC X Nike
EA are seemingly the masters of swooping major deals and Nike is the latest company to add to that list.
Ahead of the arrival of EA Sports FC 24 later this year, EA and Nike have agreed a deal that could see a number of new and exciting features arrive in the game.
In the official statement confirming the announcement, it was confirmed that this deal is "aimed at enhancing and personalising the virtual sports experience for fans all over the world."
It was also confirmed that the deal would allow fans to further express their own style in-game.
Ron Faris, General Manager of Nike Virtual Studios, said the following:
"Nike and EA SPORTS share a commitment to innovation, creativity, and excellence, and we are thrilled to partner with them
This partnership will allow us to unlock some incredible new experiences for our .SWOOSH community and the massive EA SPORTS fan base"
It was also confirmed in the official announcement that further details would be announced in the coming months, potentially aligning with reveals for EA Sports FC 24.
Customisation Options
This deal could mean a number of different things.
Firstly, we're almost certain that it means Nike merchandise and products will be plastered everywhere throughout future EA FC titles, from VOLTA to Pro Clubs, Career Mode to Ultimate Team.
However, we also hope that the deal has something more in-depth to offer, leaning into the customisation options hinted at in the announcement.
What we'd love to see is a kit customisation tool, something that can be used throughout EA Sports FC 24.
Whether you're designing your own shirts for your Ultimate Team or messing with kits in Career Mode, having deeper customisation options is a surefire way for EA to bag an easy win with players.
Whilst it's unlikely to see something of this ilk added as a result of this deal - due to potential rights infringements with other manufacturers - it could lead to implementation further down the line.
As of now, we know very little about what this deal holds for the future of EA Sports FC 24, but we will find out more very soon.
